In the Walking Dead, the main charater, Rick Grimes, is basically just trying to keep the group he has created safe. He does anything he can to maintain all of them in safe places and give them protection. He also knows that he cant protect all of them even if he wanted too, so he tries to teach them how to survive in the Zombie Apocolypse.

The character, Rick Grimes, has changed throughout the whole show. At first, he would always help ut other groups from getting eaten by the walkers. But then, he stopped doing that when a certain group tried to kill people from his group and take the safe place they had away from them. Now, Rick Grimes kills people, living people, before they try to harm his group. Also, he doesnt kill all living people. He kills the people he sees as a threat.

Rick Grimes exhibits evidence of the unconscious because when his wife died, he didnt want to show any type of emotion because he thought that the people in his group would see him as a weak person now. there is no type of oedipal/electra complex in The Walking Dead.

My SSR book is called War of the Bloods in My Veins. This book is a memoir. I like this book because its based on real life events and that is what makes it even more interesting. The book is about a young man named Dashaun who lives New Jersey and he is part of the Bloods gang. Dashaun is surrounded by drugs, guns and all types of violence. Dashaun experiences a lot of deaths since his friends or as he says, homees, are also in the gang and they have been killed by the gang violence. Dashaun lives with his stepfather, his mom and his brother. His mother starts getting into the drugs and she happens to overdose and that left Dashaun really shocked and scared thinking he was going to lose his mom. Dashaun also lacks the love and affection a teenage boy needs from both his mother and father. Because of that and all other problems , Dashaun has suicidal thoughts along with his friend Meg. By the middle of the book, Dashaun finally meets his biological father and isnt happy about it. Although, he really did want to meet his father, when he finally did meet him he was surprised his father had 2 other kids and
